DATING IS A WASTE OF MONEY

The text entitled “Dating is a Waste of Money “ tells about some minus point of dating such as dating is an old thinking, nothing special because all guy do that, it makes a big tension during and while dating, and it is danger for guy’s money. Actually, not all girls like an expensive dating. Girls like different and unexpected things, not only a diner or movie. What boys have to going to do is change their mindset so that girls see it that many girls will pay their dinner, take them on a trip, or fly them into whatever city she is in.
The writer thesis argues that dating is an old thinking and a waste of money. The writer presents the evidences in real society to support his thesis. Dating, actually, is a traditional thing that they got from their parents. In this text, the writer describes dating as have a diner and movie which is waste much money for something that is not really liked by girls. There is a contradiction in the text. Common guys feel that they need to buy a big expensive dinner because girls want a guy with money. In the other hand, the writer thinks that it is a big waste of money and girls do not really like this dating style. Talking about the text structure, it is not well structured. In the fourth paragraph the writer starts to make a suggestion, but in the next paragraph he is back to the minus point of dating.
This topic can be interpreted from some kinds of view. From social perspective, a boy who never has a dating will be unconfident because dating has become a traditional rule that have been drummed into their heads by parents and society. Their unconfident feeling will affect them emotionally. The boys will try to make a dating, which is actually not too important for them, as good as possible to make their girlfriend exited and show that they have already become a man. After dating, the will realize that they has done a stupid thing. They waste their money for something that done by other guys and nothing special. From the logical point of view, it is logical that a boy wants to please his girlfriend, but become not logical if they waste too much money for it. From ethical point of view, a boy has to be polite and serve girls as good as possible. The text means to me as it is open my eyes to look farther the reality of dating itself. How pity the guys who waste their money for dating.
The text is understandable since the writer gives real evidences in society. The text is also complete. It proposes a factual topic with evidences and also gives suggestion what guys should do. It is useful for the reader to look something from another point of view. The text makes me think to suggest other guys do not waste their money for old dating style. They should be creative to compose a mutual relationship with girls.
